MUMBAI: Cancer is a deadly disease and it is heartbreaking to hear someone being diagnosed with it. However, many of our Indian celebrities have battled cancer and come out strong. Sonali Bendre is one of them. In 2018, she revealed that she is suffering from Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She shared that she had just 30 % chances of surviving. However, she fought back and is now back to being healthy.

India's one of the best cricketers Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with mediastinal seminoma, a rare lung cancer affecting the tissues in the chest between the lungs in 2011. However, he stood strong and is now healthy.

Tahira was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. She completed her treatment for cancer in 2019 and is now all healthy.

Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in 202. However, she never stopped working and fought against the disease strongly.

During the COVID-19 period in 2020, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. However, he fought and did many movies as well.

Anurag Basu was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2004. His doctors had said that he just has two weeks to live. But Anurag stood strong and won the battle.

In 2018, Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a type of throat cancer. However, even he won and today, he is one of the fittest and keeps sharing pictures from his gym.

Lisa Ray was diagnosed with the rare and fatal blood cancer, multiple myeloma. However, she also fought back and won.

Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer in 2012. However, the lady was strong throughout her battle and won. She declared herself cancer free in 2018.
