Last year, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone created a record of sorts by indulging in the longest ever lip-lock with Ram-Leela. Infact, so long and passionate was the kiss that the censor board almost had its knickers in a twist over the scene. Ranveer, on his part, called it the beautiful kiss ever in the history of Indian cinema. Unfortunately, every record in the book has been overtaken and the honour of toppling Ranveer's kissing record today belongs to Sushant Singh Rajput who is reported to have kissed his way to glory in Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Sushant's lip-lock with actress Swastika Mukherjee is reported to have lasted for much longer durations than that of Ranveer and Deepika. When we asked Ranveer about his interest in regaining his lost 'kissing record', the actor said, "I hope moving forward in my career, I get to break box-office records and not these type of kissing records." Ranveer also expressed his desire to see Sushant's kissing scene when the movie releases."I am looking forward to seeing the scene that you just referred to. Dibakar (Banerjee) is my one of my favourite directors and he must have surely made a class product and it is also a YRF film." Well, looks like after conquering the kissing arena, Ranveer has firmly set his eyes on becoming the new box-office king.
