Kanye 'in tears' over album dominating charts
Rapper Kanye West has expressed his gratitude as his new album titled "Ye" has occupied the top spots on most music charts.
The album occupied the top seven spots on Apple Music and Spotify on 2 June afternoon, with "Yikes" in the top spot and his daughter, North West's favourite track "No mistakes", at number six, reports etonline.com.
Kanye shared a snapshot of the chart rankings on social media, with the caption: "For all my dogs that stayed down, we up again."
On Monday, Kanye posted another message. He shared a screenshot of an article about the whole record dominating the top of the charts.
"I feel so blessed. For everyone that didn't turn they back. I'm in tears right now. I love all of you," he tweeted. The 40-year-old's album touches on sensitive subjects including mental illness, drug use, and suicide.

Ariana Grande suffering from PTSD after Manchester attack
Singer Ariana Grande says she is battling post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following the Manchester attack.
Grande found herself at the center of tragedy on 22 May last year when an improvised explosive device was detonated outside her concert at the Manchester Arena, killing 23 people and injuring 250.
In an interview with British Vogue, she has revealed how she was coping with the symptoms of PTSD, reports eonline.com.
"I hate...yeah...admitting it but it very much is," she said when asked if the dizziness and anxiety Grande faced when she got home were signs of PTSD.
"I think a lot of people have anxiety, especially right now, my anxiety has anxiety," Grande told the magazine.

Hollywood, fashion stars mourn Kate Spade's death
Hollywood stars and public figures like Ivanka Trump, Lena Dunham, and Adam Best took to social media to pay tribute to fashion designer Kate Spade, who was found dead in her apartment. She was 55.
The designer apparently hanged herself on Tuesday, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
In the 1990s, Spade created a line of handbags that turned her into a household name. Her company, Kate Spade New York, has over 140 retail shops and outlets around the US, as well as at 175 international locations.
Dean Winters, Devery Jacobs enter 'American Gods' universe
Actors Dean Winters, Devery Jacobs, and Kahyun Kim have joined fantasy series American Gods. Winters, Jacobs, and Kim will be seen as Mr. Town, Sam Black Crow and New Media respectively in the second season of the show, reports ew.com.
The show, available in India on Internet video-on-demand service Amazon Prime Video India, is based on a novel by Neil Gaiman and presents a modern-day take on Greek mythology about the power struggle between the traditional Gods of mythology from around the world.
Dolly Parton to produce anthology series on her music
Legendary singer Dolly Parton will be co-producing an eight-episode anthology series for Netflix based on her music.
Parton, known for hit songs like "I will always love you", "Jolene" and "Here you come again", will also serve as singer and songwriter for the show.
"As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music," Parton said to variety.com.
"I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros TV for their incredible support," she added.
The project will be produced by Parton's Dixie Pixie Productions and Sam Haskell's Magnolia Hill Entertainment in association with Warner Bros Television.
A premiere date is yet to be announced.

Singer Mariah Carey says she takes bath in cold milk because it helps her look youthful.
"I bathe in milk," theguardian.com quoted Carey as saying.
