It is known that Sanjay Dutt is returning to production with the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Prasthanam. While Dutt plays the lead character, Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey play the role of his son.
According to TellyChakkar’s exclusive information, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff will come together on screen for this political thriller. As per our intel, Shroff will essay the character of Badshah. He will be a close ally of Dutt’s character. Apparently, the role was essayed by Madhusudhan Rao in the original.
Jackie was offered the role of keeping in mind his camaraderie with Sanjay and that he aptly fitted in the shoes.
It is ostensibly said that Shroff, 61, will have a brief appearance but a strong presence. The deal has been done recently and the Hero actor has given his nod.
The Hindi remake directed by Deva Katta, who also directed the original, will soon go on floors by this month.
