MUMBAI: We have been hearing reports about Vikramaditya Motwane’s film AK Vs SK, starring Anurag Kashyap and Shahid Kapoor, for a while now. The title of the film includes the initials of both actors.

However, soon reports stated that the project got shelved and even Shahid confirmed the same to a section of media. Then in 2017, speculations suggested that the project is being revived, but nothing materialised thereafter.

Now, after all these years, there were vague reports of Anil Kapoor stepping into Shahid's shoes. SpotboyE reports that Anil has been finalised for the project and the paper work is in progress. If all goes well, Anil will be in the Motwane directorial.

The makers had a meeting recently and now the new title of the film is AK Vs AK, after Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.
