MUMBAI: According to sources, producer Ritesh Sidhwani's mother was admitted to a Mumbai hospital due to a critical illness. A number of Bollywood superstars went straight to the hospital to see how Ritesh's mother was doing.
Don producer Ritesh Sidhwani's mother was seriously ill and was taken to the P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre in Mumbai, reportedly.
A number of celebrities visited the hospital, including Sharman Joshi, Chunky Pandey, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, Malaika Arora, and Amrita Arora. Social media users shared photos of them visiting the hospital.
Sharing multiple images from the launch event held at Nausena Bhavan in New Delhi, the handle wrote, “Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia, presents Operation Trident. The film is based on the #IndianNavy’s daring attack during the #1971IndoPakWar. The saga of the historic triumph will inspire generations to come.”
Their post further read, “The announcement of the project was held at Nausena Bhavan #NewDelhi, in presence of Adm R Hari Kumar #CNS, Ritesh Sidhwani (Producer, Excel Entertainment), Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani (Co-Producers, Excel Entertainment), Abhinav Shukla (Producer, Sunshine Digimedia) Priyanka Belorkar (Co-Producer, Sunshine Digimedia)”
However, Ritesh Sidhwani and Akhtar have provided financial support for a number of films, including Fukrey, Dil Dhadakne Do, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Raees, Fukrey 3, and the most recent drama film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which is about a coming-of-age. In the key parts are Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Adarsh Gourav.
Kunal Kemmu made his feature film debut as director with Ritesh's latest production, Madgaon Express. The film starred Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary, a remarkable trio known for their famous roles in Bambai Meri Jaan, Scam 1992, and Mirzapur, respectively. In addition to Nora Fatehi, the cast of Madgaon Express includes veteran actors Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam.
