T-town superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, who was recently seen in flicks like Shankhachil and Praktan, is all set to woo the audiences by essaying the role of army officer in Nirang Desai’s yet-untitled movie.
As per a leading daily, the actor has already shot at length at Sach Pass, a 14, 500 ft high mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh.
The film also stars notable actor Neeraj Kabi, who played a pivotal role in Talvar.
About the film, Prosenjit shared with the daily, “We play two army officers. While Neeraj is shown as the major general of the Pakistan Army, I play a top-rung military officer from India. The story unfolds in flashback as my character, Major General Anirban Roy, gives an interview to a journalist. The story begins with the abduction of Anirban and his close associates by the Pakistan Army.”
“Through the torture process comes out the human side of both the officers. How our heroes are also humans is what the film is going to show,” he added.
A few parts of the film will also be shot in Kolkata to show the past of Anirban. Bigg Boss Bangla participant Joey Debroy is also part for the project.
