Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt Take Over Berlin with the Stunt-Filled Premiere of The Fall Guy

MUMBAI: Fiercely fiery stunts, backflips, cars flying through the air, and trucks crash-exploding through brick walls; this weekend Berlin witnessed the full force of The Fall Guy ! Ryan Gosling (Colt Seavers/Producer), Emily Blunt (Jody Moreno), David Leitch (Director/Producer), Kelly McCormick (Producer), Chris O’Hara (Stunt Designer), and Ben Jenkin & Logan Holladay (Stunt Performers) took to the stage in Berlin for the special premiere of The Fall Guy . The stunt led, exhilarating rom-com is all set to hit the big screen on 3rd May 2024.

Universal Pictures (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery) with director David Leitch, is bringing the action comedy of the year to the big screen all around the world. The film follows the story of debut director, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt), as she embarks on her filmmaking journey with talented stuntman and ex-flame, Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling). Coupled with bad guys, mystery and death-defying stunts, The Fall Guy is all set to heat up theatres. The movie is the perfect salute to the work that stunt men and women all over the world do. 

Speaking about the film and its tribute to stunt men and women, Ryan Gosling said, “They are so talented and selfless, and they really are the real heroes.” Emily Blunt added on to the same, remarking, “Their skill is extraordinary, they just need the recognition”. Chris O’Hara spoke about what The Fall Guy is trying to achieve, as he stated, “We wanted to make sure that we did the stunt industry proud and I think by the final product of what we did with The Fall Guy it definitely does that”. Director David Leitch recalled his experiences as a stunt performer and how it helped him mould this particular film, “Working as a stunt performer, it prepared me to be a different type of director and made it really special for me.”

The Fall Guy is a throwback to old-school romance, action and comedy all in one. Watch this big screen blockbuster in theatres, available in English and Hindi, on 3rd May 2024.
