MUMBAI: Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest release is Bala for which he has been garnering praises. He is now geared up for his upcoming project, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. 

He is currently busy prepping up for the film in Varanasi. The actor has been updating his fans with some glimpses from the sets of the film on his social media account. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is the sequel to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The sequel, which was initially to hit theaters on 13 March 2020, has been preponed. The film will now release on 21st February 2020. Producer Aanand La Rai himself confirmed this to Mumbai Mirror. 

Ayushmann shared the first look of the film announcing its release date. He wrote, “Bhaagte Bhagate aa rahe hain hum, #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan- Releasing on 21st FEB 2020.” Aanand L Rai said that since Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is a complete family film, they want to meet the audience sooner and hence decided to release the movie in the month of February as it is the month of love. After the change in the release date, this Ayushmann Khurrana starrer movie would clash with Anurag Basu's untitled next which is produced by Bhushan Kumar. To this, Bhushan Kumar, who is also producing Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan postponed Anurag Basu's film. 

Bhushan Kumar said that both Anand and Anurag have been very supportive and both the films are interesting, catering to families across ages. The makers are ready to give the audience an adventurous ride with both the films. Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is directed by Hitesh Kewalya. It also stars Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Jeetendra Kumar and Maanvi Gagroo. Jeetendra will play Ayushmann's love interest in the film. This will be the second time, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta and Ayushmann will share screen space together.
