MUMBAI: Very soon, veteran actor Asrani will be seen in the play Welcome Zindagi, produced by Sanjay Jha. Welcome Zindagi centers around the lead character Ashutosh, a retiring government servant, and his family including Indu his wife, Setu his daughter, and Aayush his son. Being a miser and old-fashioned, Ashutosh never paid any attention to his family's needs, proclaiming it to do it once gets retirement.

The comical play will take you on a journey of fun, laughter, and emotions. Speaking on Asrani's participation in the play, Sanjay Jha says, ‘We are delighted to have him on board. He has an experience of 55 years in the industry and almost 350 films in his career. The amount of experience and dedication he has in this field is amazing. I always believe in one thing. A good actor is always capable of doing versatile stuff. Asraniji's subtle comedy sense can transfer into an intense scene any moment. One of his signature lines in the play would be Hey Bhagaban Utha Le. When I approached Asraniji and I narrated the script to him, he immediately said yes to it.’

The play will premiere on 28 October at Rangsharda at 7.45 PM.
