MUMBAI: He’s made it to the 100-crore club, he’s dancing with the biggest superstars on stage, he’s being offered the biggest films in Bollywood, and he’s living his dream. But there is something else that makes Kartik Aaryan the happiest actor in Bollywood currently. And that is shooting his next film in his hometown. There is nothing more he could have asked for.

Kartik, who is in his hometown Gwalior for Luka Chuppi, is having a ball. Last week, when he began the shoot, he was welcomed wholeheartedly by the people of Gwalior. It was almost like a celebration in the city. Kartik, who plays a local TV reporter in the film, has a 50-day schedule in the city and is really happy about it. This morning, he shared a picture on social media, where he is posing with his parents. He sweetly captioned the picture ‘Perks of shooting in Hometown. #Family’.

That speaks volumes about his happy mood. Not only is he working on a good script, but he is also surrounded by his loved ones, which happens very rarely for actors. In a recent interview, he even said that he receives home-cooked food, especially made by his mother, on the sets. Well, that’s enough reason to make anyone smile!

Luka Chuppi is Laxman Utekar’s debut directorial venture and will be produced by Dinesh Vijan.

Kartik will also soon begin working on the Hindi remake of the Kannada film Kirik Party. Rumours suggest that Jacqueline Fernandez will play his love interest in the film . Recently, videos of them shooting together went viral on social media, and we must say that the two make for a sizzling jodi. We can’t wait to see which actress joins Bollywood’s first bromantic hero at this party!
