Well, readers, team Zee Bangla Cinema Originals (ZBCO) is back with the sequel of Guti Malhar, which has been titled as Dum Dum Digha Digha.
In the earlier film, the audience saw Guti (Anindita Bose) and Malhar (Sourav Das), after overcoming all the hurdles, get married to each other.
Now, in the sequel, the audience will see them trying hard to go for a honeymoon.
When Tellychakkar.com buzzed Sourav to know more about the film, he shared, “In Dum Dum Digha Digha, it will be shown that Guti is upset as she is not able to go for her honeymoon. On the hand, Malhar is not interested in this as his family does not believe on the concept of honeymoon. However, Guti will manage to convince everyone and they will go to Digha.”
“But there is a twist. Following the couple, all the family members will also land up in Digha in disguise. And to take revenge from Guti, Malhar’s cousin will send a supari killer to kill Guti. But this supari killer is unique. He always fails in his targets. His activities are like cutting off the nose to spite the face and thus, with the presence of this funny supari killer and family members, everything will lead to a hilarious turn of events. Now, whether Guti and Malhar will eventually be able to celebrate their honeymoon or not is for the viewers to find out in the film,” he added.
Sourav also said that while shooting for this flick, they had superb fun.
He quipped, “Since, we had outdoor shooting, we had superb fun. In Guti Malhar, most of the scenes were solo but during the shooting of this film the entire cast and crew were there and we bonded over adda, fun and frolic. Although we were shooting seriously, it turned out to be a perfect outing.”
“Guti Malhar was a sweet love story and Dum Dum Digha Digha is all about comedy and hilarious conspiracies,” he signed off.
Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki and also starring Ribhu Mukherjee, Biplab Dasgupta, Rita Koiral, Bodhisatta Majumder and Anamika Saha, it will air on 27 November, 6 p.m.
