MUMBAI: Well known Hollywood actress Marla Adams who gained immense popularity for playing the role of Dina Abbott Mergeron in The Young and The Restless has sadly passed away. She was 85 years old. She passed away in Los Angeles.

Marla was well known for portraying the beloved matriarch of the Abbott family. Before the show, Marla was popular for pageantry. She began her career in 1968 on the Secret Storm. She played the role of Belle Clemens in the latter. Her other credits include Splendor in the Grass, among others.

The cause of Marla’s death is still undisclosed.
