KOLKATA: Those who were eagerly awaiting the sequel to Bishorjan can rejoice, as the film is all set to hit the theatres on 4th January.
Produced by Opera Productions and directed by Kaushik Ganguly, Bishorjan is an award-winning Bengali film that released in 2017. It starred Abir Chatterjee, Joya Ahsan, and Kaushik Ganguly in lead roles.
The film saw Jaya as Padma, Abir as Nasir, and Kaushik as Ganesh Mandal. Post the film’s release, audiences were curious to know about the fate of these three characters. Thus, to appease the curiosity of the audience, the makers have come up with a sequel titled Bijoya.
Yesterday, the Twitter handle of Opera Productions revealed the release date of Bijoya via a post, while Abir shared the first look of the film.
