5 reasons why we loved Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant

Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant

The latest offering of Life OK, Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant (Sonali & Aamir Jaffer), will remind all the viewers of American series Small Wonder, but with a fresh storyline and a stellar cast, including, Karan V. Grover, Riddhima Pandit, Tanvi Thakkar, Vahbiz Dobrajee, Pankit Thakkar, Rajendra Chawla and others. The show sure looks promising.

Giving a thumbs up to this new experimental venture, we give you five reasons why we loved the show. Have a look:

The Rajni_Kant factor-

The name associated with the Southern superstar surely grabbed our eyeballs. We have seen the living legend doing many wonders onscreen and this new daughter-in-law being the namesake of the star is suggestive enough.

Sci-fi comedy show-

Our generation was blessed with few science fiction shows during our childhood days like Captain Vyom, Karishma Ka Karishma. But in recent times, we have not seen such series in the same genre. Hence, Humari Bahu Rajni_Kant is not only refreshing, but a welcome change as well.

No saas-bahu drama-

Do we actually need to mention how happy we are to witness a super bahu like Rajni, who is thousand miles away from plotting against her dear saasu maa? Even super natural ventures focus on the cold war between the family members, but Rajn-Kant doesn’t.

Opposites attract-

Opposites surely attract. And perhaps that is the reason why we loved the chemistry between the nerdy Shantanu (Karan V. Grover) and the cutesy Rajni (Riddhima Pandit). Even though it is an unusual pair with Rajni being a robot, we loved the pairing.

Cross cultural appeal-

The witty wordplay between the Bengali mom and the Punjabi daddy presents the image of a pan Indian culture at its best. This one family somehow is able to maintain the authenticity of the cross-cultural appeal.
