Flinching moments from Life OK’s Ghulaam that will give you goosebumps

Here are some moments from Life OK's Ghulaam that will leave you shocked!

In the advent of gender neutrality, the world is taking steps towards a discrimination-free life.

Today, most of our Indian TV shows have female lead characters that are either in control or at the least defying injustice. The display of ‘today’s strong woman’ plays a significant role in the positive portrayal of women on-screen.

Shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Balika Vadhu, Pratigya, Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hu, Hitler Didi portrayed women in an inspiring light.

However, one particular show by Life OK is not playing by the same rules.

‘Ghulaam’ (Parin Multimedia Pvt Ltd) which premiered in January, has Vikkas Manaktala, Param Singh and Niti Taylor as the lead cast. The storyline follows the incessant struggles of women in a village as they continually get mistreated by the males.

The recent episodes of ‘Ghulaam’ showing Shivani’s (Niti) torture sent shudders through our spine. Yet, there is hope when Shivani continues to fight through all of it with Rangeela’s (Param) help. It sends an encouraging message for the female audience in a very unique way.

Here are some of the spine-chilling moments in Ghulaam where Shivani suffered unreasonable agony –

From being put on the charpayee and flung in air

To being asked to dance over glass shreds

She was even tied to a motorbike and dragged around

Or asked to sleep in a water filled tub

Aren't you all shocked by these images???
