They say marriages are made in heaven!!! But at times post marriage relationship might not be that heavenly. In the glam television world, many relationships start and stop in the blink of an eye. These couples did say ‘I Do’ while posing for the cameras at first, but after wedding wows, acrimony set in and they decided to part ways. Presenting the famous divorces of tellydom, and these duos should have thought twice before walking down the aisle.

KSG- Shraddha Nigam- The good looking Karan Singh Grover has always had a floundering heart. His affair stories are famous. And then he squashed a million hearts by marrying actress Shraddha Nigam in December 2008. But wedding bliss was short lived and it ended in mere ten months. Shraddha found out about KSG’s affair with his Jhalak choreographer Nicole, which triggered the separation. Today Shraddha is married to actor Mayank Anand, whereas KSG’s second marriage with Jennifer Wingett is again said to be on the rocks- thanks to his flirtatious nature.

Alexx O’Nell- Sweta Keswani- This relationship started with a controversy with Sweta’s parents parting ways with her after she chose to marry the firang actor. Married in 2008, the couple filed for an amicable divorce in 2011. The reason as stated by them was different goals, desires and professional commitments. Today Sweta is happily married to Ken Andino whereas Alex is dating actress Shama Sikander.

Sanjeev Seth-Resham Tipnis- A 20 year old Resham married her 12 year older co-star and soon became a mother. Later differences cropped up and the couple broke their decade long marriage but continued to be friends. Citing reasons of being immature later, Resham in an interview mentioned that she regretted the separation. Sanjeev today is married to actress Lata Sabharwal and Resham too has found love.

Raja Chaudhary-Shweta Tiwari- This marriage, when on the verge of crashing, was all over the media for Raja’s abusive nature. He would physically and mentally torture Shweta, as per reports. When Shweta could not take it anymore she filed for a divorce and also for the custody of their young daughter, which she won. Raja continues to be in negative news for his outwardly brash nature, as for Shweta she has started a new family with actor Abhinav Kohli.

Ali Merchantt-Sara Khan- The good looking couple married on the reality show, Bigg Boss and it looked like a start of a great journey. But as soon as the camera moved away from them, the couple separated where Sara accused Ali of mishandling her finance. There were also reports that the couple was paid a hefty amount to get married on national TV and it was nothing but a publicity stunt. Today both of them have moved on. Sara is dating actor/model Paras Chhabraa and Ali is seeing Jinita Seth.

Rajev Paul-Delnaz Irani- They looked like a happily-ever-after couple, but then after 14 years of marriage, the duo filed for divorce and Delnaz claimed Rajev’s infidelity as the reason for the separation, although Rajev rubbished it all. The makers of Bigg Boss brought this estranged couple together with hope that love will reignite and TRPs would soar, but alas, none happened. Rajev recently got engaged to corporate girl Kavita and Delnaz is dating family friend Percy.

Dipika Samson-Raunak Mehta- The actress was in a happy marriage when she started her acting career and got close to her co star Shoaib Ibhrahim (Sasural Simar Ka). With new love by her side, Deepika’s marriage soon started withering off but the lady till date denies her affair being the reason for her failed marriage. Today Shoaib has moved out of the show, but as per reports the love still holds strong.

Deepshikha Nagpal-Jeet Upendra- The actor jodi carried their marriage for a decade before separating. The couple post marriage separated in few months but got back when Deepshikha conceived, they again decided to part ways but got back and she begot a son. But finally the two frustrated over their constant fights went separate ways and Deepshika married her movie’s (Yeh Dooriyan) co-star Kaishav soon after.

Vindu Dara Singh-Farha Naaz- The wrestler Dara Singh’s son, Vindu married yesteryear popular actress Farah and with a cute son they looked like a complete happy family. Not accepting the way his son was brought up, the couple got into a lot of fights and finally Farah walked out, and her husband did not stop her. Samir Soni-Rajlaxmi Roy- After walking the ramp, the good looking people also decided to walk the aisle together. It is also said that Rajlaxmi was in awe of the institution of marriage and hence jumped to it at a very young age and could not handle the responsibility. Kamya Punjabi-Bunty Negi- The actress-business man jodi did not work for evident reasons. Erratic work schedules, parties and friends were not accepted by Bunty and the couple had filed for divorce long back in 2006 after three years of marriage. But having solved their issues, they got back but eventually parted ways last year. Kamya who has a daughter from her marriage is reported to be dating actor Karan Patel.

Rahul Mahajan-Sweta Singh- The politician’s son Rahul popped in media after his dad’s murder. Soon entangled in a drug case, he quickly got married to his childhood sweetheart to silent all negative news. But it touched greater heights when Sweta walked out of the marriage accusing Rahul of beating her. He then married Dimpy via a television show (Swayamvar), who after a couple of months too filed a case against him for domestic violence and now having found love in a foreign guy, Dimpy is all set to get separated from Rahul.

Nandish Sandhu-Rashmi Desai- This marriage might just actually work again with Nandish trying his best to woo his wife back in his life. Having met on the sets of Uttaran, the couple got married secretly and then went public after few months. Nandish’s roving eyes is said to be the reason for the separation, which he is trying to mend by proving his loyalty and following Rashmi around like a true lover.
