“I am a metrosexual” - Vishal Singh

From playing Sanju in Dekh Bhai Dekh to Yash in Ek Ladki Anjani Si, actor Vishal Singh has come a long way, both in terms of acting and dressing! Unlike Sanju who dressed in tatters, today he digs branded garbs. Not just that, but his ultimate kick is when a lady turns around to especially compliment him on his looks. On a rather candid note, Vishal tells Tellychakkar.com's Sameera Kapoor, " I am a hygiene and cleanliness freak". So, here goes Vishal Singh on his fixation for brands and his take on metrosexuals. What's your fashion motto?

On a rather candid note, Vishal tells Tellychakkar.com's Sameera Kapoor, " I am a hygiene and cleanliness freak". So, here goes Vishal Singh on his fixation for brands and his take on metrosexuals. What's your fashion motto? I believe; when you look good, you feel good. I am quite conscious about the way I look. Though I do not follow any trends as such, I love to wear clothes which accentuate my looks. I pick up anything that appeals to my eyes. And yes, comfort does matter. What's you take on metrosexuals? Are you one? According to me, being a man doesn't mean that you can neglect your body; it's essential that we take good care. However, it does not necessarily mean going overboard and behaving in a feminine manner. It's basically about maintaining hygiene and cleanliness. And yes, I am metrosexual. I do make it a point to go for regular facials, body massages and pedicures. Guys and shopping.....doesn't gel. What about you? I am not a patient shopper, however if I'm accompanying someone, I give them fair time. As far as I am concerned, I fix up my agenda of to-be-bought items before hand, and then try and get over with it soon. I prefer shopping only on when I am holidaying. So where can we spot you shopping? Unfortunately Mumbai doesn't offer much in terms of brands. Off-shores, I prefer Singapore and Australia. I am also looking forward for the Dubai shopping festival. Hmmm.. do brands matter to you? Absolutely, I am a sucker for brands. Except for my denims, all my outfits have to be branded. I possess attires from the house of Hugo Boss, Zara, Zenia,Abercrombie, DK&Y.... and lots more. Branded stuff fits well and lasts longer. Do you think men are bound by a limited dressing choice? No, we have lots to choose from, be it polos, jackets, suits, pull overs etc. But unfortunately the climatic condition of Mumbai doesn't permit experimentation. Thus casual gear dominates here. What are the essentials of a wardrobe? The first thing that comes my mind are good, clean and comfortable undergarments. I love wearing suits, be it the conventional black ones or the light green or beige ones. Also linen wear, well fitted jeans and casual tees are a must. And yes, I forgot to mention, boxers, shorts and three fourths. What's your fetish? I love stocking branded undergarments. You name it and I have it, Valentino, Boss, and Versace… Tell us one thing that people don't know about you. I am a complete neatness freak. I loathe messy places, especially unclean toilets. I am very organized and like to carry out things in a orderly fashion.
