Abhimanyu to get brutally killed in Star Plus' Mahabharat

Paras Arora
The world has read and heard quite a lot about the epic tale of Mahabharat, but there is no comparison to the experience that Star Plus’ Mahabharat (Swastik Productions) offers to its viewers. With the massive war of Kurukshetra taking place between the Pandavs and Kauravs, the young Abhimanyu (Paras Arora) has been putting up a strong stance throughout. The son of warrior prince Arjun (Shaheer Sheikh), Abhimanyu has managed to impress one and all with his courage and strength. And now finally the time has come when the boy will breathe his last but not before putting up a strong fight against his cruel uncles. As people know, Abhimanyu was the only one who knew how to get into the Chakravyuh (a formation during the war) but sadly he had not learnt how to exit it. And during the fight to protect the Pandavs, Abhimanyu will head into the Chakravyuh and get attacked by Duryodhan (Arpit Ranka), Dushasan (Nirbhay Wadhwa) and Ashwathama (Ankit Mohan). But this would not deter the young boy as he will go on to fight single handedly and injure all of them. But suddenly Jayadrath (Ali Hassan) will attack him from behind and bring the boy down on the grounds. The rest would follow suit and crush Abhimanyu’s head brutally to kill him. The scene that is being shot currently has already left goose bumps on the cast and. It is also said to be one of the most touching scenes in the war sequence. We spoke to Paras who said, “I am currently shooting for my death scene and it is surely an emotional moment for me.” The particular happenings will be aired this week.
