Kajal Nishad
Miloni Moviez’ Khushiyon Ki Gullakh – Aashi on Sony Pal has already got on board Naman Shaw and Hally Shah in lead roles. The show which would depict the journey of Aashi who would go on to adopt new parents for herself in a quest to seek parental love comes across as a never-seen-before concept on Indian TV. As reported, the show has Rohitashv Gour, Nishigandha Wad, Abhishek Sharma in pivotal roles. We now hear that noted actress Kajal Nishad who was last seen in Lapataganj – Ek Baar Phir in the role of Chameli will essay a very important character in Khushiyon Ki Gullakh – Aashi. As per a source, Kajal will play the bubbly neighbour of Aashi. Her character will be named Jhabroo aunty. The lady and Aashi’s chemistry would be similar to that of Tom and Jerry’s, in the sense they both cannot cannot stay away from each other, at the same time they would keep quarrelling over trivial matters. Having said this, Jhabroo aunty would shower all her love on Aashi and would treat her like her own daughter. For the uninitiated, Kajal has been a member of Indian National Congress, having contested for the Uttar Pradesh state assembly election in 2012 from the Gorakhpur constituency. She was also seen in Miloni Moviez’ show on SAB TV, Tota Weds Maina. When contacted, Kajal told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I will be seen essaying the role of Jhabroo aunty, the neighbour of the lead girl Aashi. My character will be very bubbly and positive. The woman would have a liking for old film songs and would be in love with the heroes of the era gone by. She would be very filmy in her talk and attitude.” Watch for the lady’s striking chemistry with the lead protagonist, Aashi in Khushiyon Ki Gullakh – Aashi, premiering on Sony PAL from 1 September.
