Actress Meena Nathani to play Namish Taneja’s Jiji Bua in 'Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo'

MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo has generated a lot of buzz due to its unique concept and colourful characters. Neelu Vaghela as Satya Devi whose constant interference in her daughter Jaya's (Srishti Jain) life creates comic and dramatic situations in her married life with Samar (Namish Taneja). The show will soon witness the entry of an interesting character of Jiji Bua played by actress Meena Nathani. Meena has previously played some pivotal roles on TV and Bollywood movies like Well Done Abba.

Meena Nathani will play the role of Samar's (Namish Taneja) father's bua Jiji Bua. Jiji Bua is strict and has set her own principles. She loves Jaya (Srishti Jain), but hates the fact that Satya Devi interferes in their marital life. Time to time the viewers will see, Jiji Bua constantly offering advice and teachings to Jaya in order to discipline her set her on the right track of married household life.

Commenting on her character, Meena Nathani said, “I am happy to be a part of a unique show like Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo. My character of Jiji Bua has different shades. I am loving as well as strict and won’t adjust when I see anyone breaking the principles that are to be followed to have a happy household. This character is totally different from the previous characters which I have essayed on television and movies.”
