After Nach Baliye stint, Rohit Nag to try hands in acting

Rohit Nag

Rohit Nag, husband of popular actress Aishwarya Sakhuja is presently on ‘cloud nine’ after bagging all the limelight for his dancing prowess on the stage of Nach Baliye.

With his first exposure before the camera going perfectly well, Rohit now wants to try his hand in acting.

Says Rohit, “Time has changed now. There was a time when I used to be Aishwarya’s guru; but now Aishwarya is my guruji (smiles). Soon after our tenure of Nach Baliye ended, Aishwarya forced me to have a portfolio done for myself, and I obeyed her. I have started giving auditions and am waiting for lady luck to come my way.”

Rohit who has been an ardent fan of Govinda feels that his inspiration for acting comes from the star. “In fact, the common factor in me and Aishwarya was that we are ardent fans of Govinda. The Govinda factor drew us together, and my first act in Nach Baliye was a Govinda act.”

So does it mean that like Govinda, Rohit will master in comedy? “Well, comedy is surely an option. But I will want to try my hands at being the evil guy. I also emulate Sanjay Dutt, and like his acting prowess, especially in negative roles.”

Rohit Nag who has been an assistant cameraman, done still photography, casting, been an executive producer, and also a line producer, is all geared up to be an actor. “Yes, hopefully things will materialize soon. I am my biggest critic and will know whether I am on the right path or not instantly.”

Rohit, we wish you luck!!
