Ahsaas Channa joins the cast of MTV's Fanaah

Actress Ahsaas Channa, popularly known as the Phoonk 2 girl will soon be seen in a new avatar in MTV’s upcoming show, Fanaah – An Impossible Love Story. To be based on the lines of Vampire Diaries, this BBC Media Entertainment’s desi version of the popular international horror series has already got on board actors Karan Kundra, Ratan Rajpoot, Anita Hassnandani and Chetna Pande. Now we hear that Ahsaas has been roped in to play the youngest lead on the show. She will essay the character of Dhara. Ahsaas as we know, began her acting career in Kasamh Se, and later went on to be part of shows like Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev, Oye Jassie. She has quite a lot of movies too to her credit. As reported earlier, the promo of Fanaah has been the most expensive ever on Indian TV, costing a whopping amount of Rs. 45 lakhs. We hear that the promo of Fanaah will be on air from today (28 June). We tried contacting Ahsaas, but could not get her. Get ready for the spookiest affair with Fanaah on MTV starting 21 July.
