Finite series have been gaining a great foothold in Indian Television. The vision of narrating stories which have a clear-cut start to end route, has been the new newest trend.  

Carrying forward this trend, SAB TV will launch a crisp finite series, but that will come with a difference!!

Ashwini Dheer’s Garima Productions, will come up with a finite series titled Khatmal-E-Ishq, which will depict love stories with a slice of comedy in them. However, the difference will be that Khatmal-E-Ishq will be a compilation of many such finite series.

Yes, one particular story will run up to 25 episodes, which will go on for a month or so. With the culmination of one finite love story, the next story will take its place and will run for the next month.

As reported by media, actors Vishal Malhotra of Vicky and Vetaal fame and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain’s Umang Jain will be playing the leads in the first finite series.

We have now come to know of senior artists Akhilendra Mishra and Sulbha Arya being roped in for the first series. While Akhilendra was last seen in Star Plus’ Tu Mera Hero, Sulbha appeared recently on TV inBegusarai.

As per sources, “Akhilendra will be playing the father of Umang, while Sulbha will be essaying the lead girl’s grand mother.”

We tried calling Akhilendra and Sulbha, but could not get through to them.

We also tried to get through to the channel spokesperson for a comment, but did not get any revert. We also sent a text to Producer Ashwini Dheer, but did not receive any response.

The entire cast and unit is presently shooting for the series in Goa.

Khatmal-E-Ishq is slated to launch on SAB TV in October.
