Alan Kapoor-Adaa Khan to play leads in Rashmi Sharma's next for Sony Pal; Siddharth Shivpuri too roped in

Rashmi Sharma Productions, makers of the very successful Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Star Plus) and Sasural Simar Ka (Colors) will come up with a fresh concept for SET’s new channel, called Sony Pal. The yet untitled show will have a Gujarati backdrop, and will depict the life of a young lad who would have no academic aspirations but long to become a successful football player. Born in a rich Gujarati family, the guy will not be keen on joining his father’s family business, but would aspire to tread on his own chosen path. The female lead on the show will be the daughter of the maid, working in the Gujarati family. Now we give you exclusive information of the cast of the show – Handsome Alan Kapoor, who won all hearts as a cadet in Diya Aur Baati Hum, has been roped in to play the male lead. Gorgeous Adaa Khan, who was last seen in Amrit Manthan, will play the female lead in the project. Giving the lead pair company will be Siddharth Shivpuri, who got appreciated for his role of Jacky in Ye Parinde. He was recently seen in Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Siddharth will essay the younger brother of the male lead. His character will be full of life and positivity. The show will go on floor from 19 June, wherein the unit will shoot for an outdoor schedule in Bhopal. As we have already reported, Sony Pal is expected to launch in August.
