Anand Suryavanshi to stage a comeback with Shashi Sumeet's next on Zee TV

Talented and versatile actor Anand Suryavanshi will soon make a comeback to television. Yes, the actor who feels at ease both in a grey-shaded character as well as the positive lead had been on a hiatus from acting post playing the lead in Star Plus’ Grihasti. Now, viewers can see him playing a really fun-loving character in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show for Zee TV!! Yes, you heard it right!! The renowned production house helmed by Sumeet H Mittal and Shashi Mittal are presently working on three new shows – Badi Devrani for Zee &, Season 2 of Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki for Life OK and this untitled slice-of-life family drama for Zee TV. A reliable source tells us, “The show will be a family drama with very relatable situations, with all the characters in the family gaining equal prominence. The story will be about four brothers in the family, and Anand will be playing one of the leads, that is one of the brothers in the family.” We hear that Anand’s character will be of a complete family man with a lot of wit and humour in him. Anand who debuted with Kasautii Zindagi Kay, has done shows like Mamta, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Grihasti, Ye Ishq Haaye, Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath. Anand during his break, developed his passion and became a professional nutritionist. He has also written a book on nutrition. We tried calling Anand, but did not get through to him. We buzzed Producer Sumeet H. Mittal for a response to our query, but did not get any till the time we filed the story. We hear that the shoot for this show will begin sometime in January 2015.
