Shashi-Sumeet Mittal's new show for Star One is making it to the headlines regularly. Tentatively titled Mein Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki, has seen a lot of changes since we last reported on it. Shalini Sahuta who was finalised to play the parallel lead in the show has been replaced by new comer Hina Parmar. Then it leaked out that veteran actress Aroona Irani had been cast for a pivotal role in the show. Now the latest news is that another veteran actor Anil Dhawan will have an important role in the show. When contacted, actor Anil Dhawan confirmed the news and also revealed that he will play father to the female lead. "I am playing the role of a railway ticket official on the show," he disclosed. Aroona Irani, on the other hand, will play lead actor Sudeep Sahir’s grandmother. What amuses us is that though both these veteran actors fall in the same age bracket, one is a playing a father and the other a grandmother in the show. But knowing the skill sets of the two actors, we are sure they will pull off their roles well. Right Papa and Dadi?
