Atul Verma

Colors popular crime based show Code Red will see a very important social issue in the coming episode of the show.

Produced by Sunshine Rise Productions, the coming story will focus on the discrimination of North East Indian people. And playing the main villain will be Atul Verma, last seen in Maharana Pratap and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.

Shares a source, “The story will present how a Delhi Jatt will continue to harass a north east boyr when he joins his college. And once while on his harassment ploy, the boy would end up killing the boy. Post that how Kabir (Yash Sinha) manages to sort the issue will be for viewers to see.”

When we buzzed Atul on the same he said, “It was a very interesting story and I really enjoyed playing the role. Also I got to actually open up and perform like a true villain. People around me were wondering if I am actually so negative in real life also (laughs). But I must say it was super fun.”

Talking about the abuse practice, the actor quipped, “I really feel that it is a very disgusting thing. I have seen people discriminating people in accordance to their feature, language, voice etc. Minorities do face discrimination and I feel people should realise that it leaves a very bad impact on them. We are all humans and should respect and love each other equally.”

Well said Atul!!!
