Bengali actress Diya Mukherjee for the first time will be seen in Hindi show Crime Patrol. In the story, she is playing the role of a girl who tries to commit suicide.
Time to smile as we bring a piece of good news for the fans of Diya Mukherjee! For the first time, the Bengali actress will be seen in a Hindi show. Readers, Diya is playing an important role in Sony Entertainment Television's Crime Patrol and the story will be aired tonight. Talking about the story and her character, she told Tellychakkar.com, “It’s a story on suicide and the character I am playing tries to end her life.” “I am playing the lead character in the story,” she added. When quizzed how she bagged the role, the actress quipped, “Rahul Bose, who was the story writer of my earlier serial Tumi Ele Tai, called me up and asked if I am interested to work in his next Hindi project.” “I said why not and gave my positive nod,” she added. So, how was the feeling of working in a Hindi show? Replied Diya, “My first Hindi project so, of course I was very excited.” “And, I was nervous too but I did not face any problem as the unit was very cooperative.
