MUMBAI: Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut Productions) has garnered a lot of audience love. KaIra fans were thrilled to learn that the makers of the show have finally decided to reunite Kartik and Naira (Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, respectively) after a prolonged divorce track. However, their happiness was short lived, as soon after, the makers stunned them with a promo wherein they showed Naira not turning up for her wedding with Kartik.
In the current track, it is shown that Naira has a brain tumour, due to which she has called off her wedding with Kartik. Kartik is not able to take this betrayal from Naira. A furious Kartik has thus decided to get married to Ashi.
In the upcoming episodes, Kartik gives Naira the invitation card of his wedding with Ashi. Kartik tells Naira that he is moving on in life, just as she told him to.
