Bollywood face Dinesh Lamba roped in for an episodic of Life OK's Dafa 420

Tellychakkar.com had exclusively reported about Saregama Productions coming up with a cop based bi-weekly show titled Dafa 420 which will deal with a lady cop cracking cases with the help of a con man. The show as reported by us, will have Yuvika Chaudhary and Manoj Pahwa in central roles. The show was earlier to be on Star Plus, but has now been moved to Life OK. We now hear that the maker is looking at bringing in some big and popular names for the episodic stories. And to begin with, Bollywood actor Dinesh Lamba will feature as the central character in one of the stories. Dinesh has acted in more than 20 Hindi films and few Tamil films too. His debut movie was Samay, and has been part of flicks like Aitraaz, Page 3, Jaago, Mumbai Express, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Mangal Pandey, Sarkar, Vivah, Daddy Cool. He has done Tamil movies Urchagam, Thottu Paar. In Dafa 420, Dinesh will be part of a story which will focus on a particular hotel. He will play the assistant to the main person in the hotel. The hotel will be known for various illegal activities, and this will bring the team of cops to investigate the matter. We hear that the team of Dafa 420 shot this story in various real locations of Muradabad, including the melas and ramleela event. When contacted, Dinesh Lamba confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I have recently shot for Dafa 420. However I cannot reveal anything about it; all I can say is that I loved working for TV again after 12 years. It was a very good team to work with.” Dinesh Lamba awaits the release of the movie Lions of Gujarat which he has produced, directed and written. Dafa 420 is likely to launch on 28 October on Life OK.
