Chetna Pande roped in for MTV Fanaah

A lot of curiosity has gripped the upcoming show Fanaah (A Lost Boy Productions and BBC Media Worldwide) on MTV that is touted to be the desi version of the popular Vampire Diaries series. To catch up on the viewers’ attention the hot Karan Kundra has been roped in by the makers to play the lead along with the rustic beauty Ratan Rajpoot. Post getting Anita Hasnandani on board, now the very hot and attractive Chetna Pande has been brought into the scene to add some glam quotient. The actress made her debut in the entertainment industry with a Bollywood film I Don’t Luv U with Ruslaan Mumtaz and was recently seen in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Zing) in an episodic with Ayaz Ahmed. The show will have Karan playing a vampire and in one of the initial tracks he will be shown falling in love with a human that would lead to some dramatic moments. Chetna will play the normal human girl unknowingly smitten by the sexy vampire. The shooting stills that Karan shared on his social networking profile shows that the two will share a steamy and loving relationship in the show. When we buzzed Chetna she confirmed her presence but refused to divulge any details on her character. Vikas Gupta, Programming Head of MTV said, “Chetna will be playing one of the characters in the show. It’s a very interesting project which viewers will enjoy.” The promo of Fanaah is being currently shot and it will go on air from 21 July.
