CID team kick-start their Mission Mumbai initiative by honouring local heroes at a social event

Check the slideshow above The popular show on Sony Entertainment Television, CID (Fireworks Productions), will soon be focusing on the city Mumbai as part of its month long special ‘Mumbai Mission’ episodes. And accordingly, the team of CID decided to flag off this initiative with a special event yesterday (9 March). The team got together at Pratiksha Nagar in Sion and felicitated the local heroes of the area. The people of the area couldn’t be happier seeing their favourite cops in their neighbourhood. The event was attended by ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam), Daya (Dayanand Shetty), Abhijeet (Aditya Shrivastava), Dr. Salunkhe (Narendra Gupta), Freddy (Dinesh Phadnis), Dr. Tarika (Shradha Musale) and Nikhil (Abhay Shukla). The cast felicitated the real life heroes who have made a difference in the society. The real life heroes comprised of a lawyer, who fought cases for the local people without charging even a penny, a man who saved a girl from being raped and a brave man who fought for people affected by HIV. As a consumer initiative, Sony Entertainment Television and CID will set out on a canter to various localities of Mumbai inviting people in the vicinity to participate in various CID games every weekend. The activities will span over three days which will culminate in CID Mission Mumbai event. The on-ground event will witness CID cops felicitating the local heroes for their heroic acts that made a difference to the community and making Mumbai safe. The canter, which will visit many localities with pit stops every weekend, each spanning over three days and covering the entire city over a period of a month. The social message will also be turned interesting with four games each symbolizing the four characters of the show. This project surely gets a thumbs up from us!
