Danielle Canute has become the CHAMPION of MTV India’s Next Top Model.

The final round to be showcased tonight will see Danielle being announced as the winner of the first season of the beauty pageant.
The much acclaimed series launched to bring on stage the finest models in the country. Judges Lisa Haydon, Neeraj Gaba, Anusha Dandekar and Dabboo Ratnani had a hard task choosing the best among the glamorous girls.
Last week we saw the finalists Danielle along with Gloria Tep and Rushali Rai getting a chance to walk the ramp of Lakme India Fashion Week. With the trio performing par excellence, it was a hard task to choose the winner.
Now coming to the woman of the moment, Danielle, she was the youngest contender. Although soft spoken, the strong headed girl fought through her fears and apprehension of trying things out for the first time. Coming from a strict background, the 18 year old girl also managed to impress judges in most of the tasks.
The champ will be awarded with an exclusive contract with a fashion agency as well as get a chance to be on the cover of a popular fashion magazine.
