Dance instructor Radhika Madan - the new face to dazzle as the female lead in Colors' Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi

Radhika Madan
Earlier in the day we had reported about Aparna Dixit and Muni Jha being roped in for Colors’ Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi that will go on air from next month. The one sided love story by Balaji Telefilms has Shakti Arora playing the lead and Tellychakkar.com has the exclusive news of the female newbie cast opposite him. The girl is Radhika Madan, a dance instructor from a popular dance academy in Delhi. Her pictures caught Ekta Kapoor’s attention instantaneously. The girl was in contention to play the lead in Balaji’s another upcoming venture, the second season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. But this hot Delhite did not want to be a part of saas-bahu show and turned down the offer. But Ekta called the girl in for a mock shoot (in Mumbai) for Meri Aashiqui which she failed miserably. Informs a source, “Being new to acting she found it really difficult to emote and had almost packed her bags when wisdom dawned upon her and she chose to stay back for the show.” The girl also matches Shakti’s innocence and cuteness and as a couple they will soon become a rage, as per people from the sets. We have also heard that the leads will be off to Matheran tomorrow to shoot for the promo which will soon hit screens. The production team is working their best to keep the girl away from the prying eyes of media and thus we could not get through to Radhika to get her thoughts on commencing her journey in the television industry. We wish her luck and for all the further updates, keep reading Tellychakkar.com.
