As the shoots of all the on-going Television shows has been halted, most of the channels have started the trend of re-running their popular shows. This trend paved the way for cult shows like B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat and Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan return to the Television screens. The announcement has left the audience elated and now people are enjoying these shows on DD.

Did you know Chetan Hansraj has been a part of 1988’s Mahabharat as Balram? Read on.

Chetan Hansraj who now has many mythological and historical shows to his credit was a part of B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat wherein he played the role of young Balram. It was Chetan’s debut on Television and he impressed the audience with his innocence.

Ironically, he was offered to play the character of Bheem in Ekta Kapoor’s Mahabharat after almost 15 years of playing Balram.

Looks like it was through B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat that Chetan got an inclination to take up several periodic shows.
