Drashti Dhami

MUMBAI: Drashti Dhami is one of the top actresses of Indian television, and today is a special day for her. She completes 11 years today in the industry.

She made her serial debut with Dill Mill Gayye, and went on to act in many shows. Drashti played her first lead role in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, where she was seen as Geet Handa. The role earned her immense love of the audience.

To mark her achievement, we walk down memory lane and bring to you three of the most loved characters played by Drashti. Take a look.

Geet (Geet Hui Sabse Parayi)

Produced by 4 Lions Films, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi featured her in the titular role of Geet Handa. Her portrayal of the vulnerable and yet confident Geet was loved by the viewers. Her chemistry with Gurmeet Chaudhary was also one of the biggest highlights of the show.

Madhubala (Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon)

In Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Drashti essayed the role of Madhubala, and was seen opposite Vivian Dsena. Her simplistic looks and her chemistry with Vivian were appreciated by telesoap lovers.

Nandini (Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka)

Drashti was loved and hated for her role of Nandini in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, and when she left the show midway, she received a lot of flak for it. In the soap, she was seen playing the role of the ‘second woman’. It was one of her boldest characters and worth remembering.

Congratulations, Drashti! Keep up the good work!
