MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor launched Dil Hi Toh Hai on Sony TV amidst speculations that the show was based on Karan Johar's family saga Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. However, Ekta refused to confirm these rumors, and fans continued to speculate about it.
The show marked Karan Kundra’s return to television and Yogita Bihani's debut, but it failed to fetch numbers. In fact, there was talk of the show going off-air, which was disappointing for its fans. Although the channel pulled off the show, it will continue to air on ALTBalaji.
Now Ekta has shared the good news that season 2 of Dil Hi Toh Hai is coming up, and viewers can’t wait to watch their favorite serial again.
