Ekta Kapoor ropes in Iqbal and Mona for her finite 'love story' on Sony TV

Iqbal Khan, Ekta Kapoor and Mona Singh

Already excited reading the header? Well, this is indeed a ‘big’ news for all you TV buffs…

Sony Entertainment Television has always had a successful association with the Czarina, Ekta Kapoor, whether it be the yester year hit shows Kutumb, Kkusum, Khwaish, Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, or the recent ones Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Kya Hoga Tera Vaada, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar!!

Now, Balaji Telefilms is working out intricate details on yet another interesting concept for Sony TV.

Well, news coming in is that Ekta has roped in the mighty Iqbal Khan for her next love story!! Giving Iqbal company, will be the pretty and intelligent Mona Singh. Iqbal was last seen in Tumhari Paakhi, while Mona has been testing waters as anchor on TV.

Yes, this is a piece of confirmed information!!

As per a reliable source, “Ekta is presently working on a finite series, a love story for Sony TV. She has roped in her Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai find, Iqbal Khan as the lead. Mona who has earlier worked with Ekta and Sony for Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada will be playing the female protagonist.”

We tried buzzing Mona Singh but did not get through her.

Iqbal on the other hand shared, "My answer will be a 'Yes-No' and a 'No-Yes'. I can't comment on anything right now."

We sent out a text message to Producer Ekta Kapoor, but received no response till the time we filed the story.

Our efforts to reach the channel for a quote remained futile.

We will surely come up with more developments on the same in days to come… Watch out!
