MUMBAI: Vishal Aditya Singh is an actor best known for his parts in the television shows 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Begusarai,' among others. He will play Dev in the upcoming fairytale romance drama 'Chand Jalne Laga.' He claims that viewers will be able to connect with the types of love, pain, and separation portrayed in the show.

The latest television duo, Vishal and Kanika Mann as Dev and Tara, respectively, whose story recounts the incredible journey of two childhood sweethearts who were once each other's sanctuary but are eventually torn apart by fate. 'Chand Jalne Laga' is that burning fire, promising to be the most intense love story of the year, as the well-known saying, "Love is the fire that kindles the heart."

Vishal Aditya Singh discussed the subject, “I’ve had the privilege of working with Colors and Swastik Productions earlier, and I’m excited to be working with them once again for ‘Chand Jalne Laga’. After ‘Bigg Boss 13’, I was waiting to spearhead a love story. I think the patience paid off and I’m grateful for it. The viewers have showered an immense amount of love on all the characters I’ve essayed so far.”

He further added, “I’m sure that they will appreciate Dev and relate to the kind of love, pain and separation captured in this show.” The love story starts with Dev and Tara, who have been best friends since they were young, against the lovely backdrop of a vineyard. Dev is a stable boy for a wealthy Zamindar family who has the rare ability to understand horses, and Tara is their captive princess who is terrified of almost everything.

Both thrive from being around each other. After being split apart by a major misunderstanding as adults, they cross paths after each going through a significant transformation. Dev was formerly positive and kind, becoming a man with anguish and a harsh resolve after earning money.

The terrified and dependent Tara changes into a self-assured and courageous woman as her family loses its wealth. Except for a few things, a lot has changed in their lives over time. Will those be sufficient for reviving the intense love they once experienced?

'Chand Jalne Laga', produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Swastik Productions, will make its television debut on Colors on October 23.
