MUMBAI : Barrister Babu, a popular program on Colors TV, is returning. The much-loved drama will return with Durga Aur Charu, a second season that will star Vaishnavi Prajapati and Aurra Bhatnagar in key roles. The pair will appear on the show as Anirudh and Bondita's daughters. The introduction of Aurra and Vaishnavi may be seen in the first season's promo, which has already been released.

As per sources, Chandan Anand will continue to be a part of the show. He played the role of Binoy Rou Choudhary in the first season.

The first season of Barrister Babu did well and was immensely loved by the audience. 

It was produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. It starred Pravisht Mishra as Anirudh and Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni as Bondita. 

The series revolves around Anirudh Roy Choudhary, a young London-educated Gold medalist barrister, and his inquisitive child bride, Bondita Das. Anirudh fights the oppressive and patriarchal society to educate Bondita to become a barrister.

Chandan Anand debuted in 'Kaafila' along with the superstar Sunny Deol. It was followed by meaty roles in films like 'Aloo chaat', 'Budget trip', and 'le le Meri Jaan.

Along with films he has also acted in several television shows like Bhabhi, Yeh Pyar na hoga kam, Hatim, and Dharamkshetra for leading television channels in India.
