Post a super successful outing in the telly world with shows like Veera, Sadda Haq, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and few others, producer Yash Patnaik is all set to launch his next venture on Life OK.
Under the banner of Beyond Dreams, Yash’s upcoming project Nagarjuna, we hear, will be a sci-fi thriller.
Earlier, we reported about Sanaya Pithawalla being roped in as the female lead for Nagarjuna. Now, we have been informed that replacing Sanaya, pretty lady, Pooja Banerjee (Swim Team) has bagged the meaty role in the show.
A source shares, “While the talks for the project was on for a long time, Sanaya was waiting for the series to go on floor. But, the series took a long time making her impatient. Moreover, Sanaya was having date issues with the production house. Considering all these, the lady stepped out of the project with Pooja taking her place”.
While Pooja remained unavailable, Sanaya mentioned, “I don’t think it is the right time to comment anything about it”.
We have dropped a message to Producer Yash and the channel’s spokesperson but have not received any revert till the time of filing the article.
Pooja will be paired opposite Anshuman Malhotra. Other big names involved with Nagarjuna are Mrunal Jain, Nikiteen Dheer, Shruti Ulfat and Manish Wadhwa among others.
