MUMBAI: Colors is all set to roll out a new show Spy Bahu starring Sana Sayyad and Sehban Azim in the lead roles. The story of Spy Bahu is lead-centric and will depict the love story of a detective and a terror-suspect.

Spy Bahu is bankrolled by Ashvini Yardi under her production house Viniyard Productions.

TellyChakkar got in touch with talented actor Ayub Khan at the launch of the show. He spoke briefly about his role and more.

What is your character in spy Bahu? “My character is of a nationally known businessman. He's been married for the second time, and he has 4 kids, 3 from his first wife and 1 from his second wife. Since he married his wife's sister, Yohan is unhappy with him. It's a very selfish family. Spy Bahu is not just a spy drama; it has comedy, suspense, and everything.”

What was that one element that made you say yes to the character? “The type of characters that I play depends upon what the story is and around who it revolves around, and Spy Bahu has an amazing storyline. Television hasn't attempted a thriller story like this, so I took up this role. Colors has given me many fantastic offers, so I couldn't resist this one as well.”

How would you define your journey? “It's been a great journey of learning and experience with lots of highs and lows. To work with such great actors is bliss.”
