Gautam and Ravi's 'noble' act for street children

Gautam and Ravi

Many of us simply ignore slum children at traffic signals, while many don’t even come close to them. But there are some who make these children feel special and loved like other normal children.

Two of our TV celebs, who play heroes on the small screen, became real life ones when they brought a smile on the faces of street children. We are talking about Gautam Rode and Ravi Dubey who are currently seen entertaining viewers in Mahakumbh (Life OK) and Jamai Raja (Zee TV), respectively.

Shares a source, “Gautam has been actively working on the upliftment of street children. Ravi too joined him and the two recently went ahead and distributed goodies to the children.”

The actors handed the kids chocolates, Frooti, cold drinks and chips. Gautam and Ravi were overwhelmed seeing the twinkle in the eyes of the little ones.

Gautam said, “Earlier, people believed in doing good but hiding it from public eyes, but now I think the time has come when people should actually flaunt it so that more and more people become aware of such things. So don’t shy away, help others and make others do the same. Doing something for others has no self interest apart from bringing peace and solace to one’s mind. I would really want my fans to come forward and support this cause.”

We called Ravi but he was busy shooting.

It’s a great initiative, guys, keep up the good work.
