Noted choreographer and dance reality show judge Geeta Kapur was arrested by the Versova Police today after her car allegedly dashed a biker in the wee hours of morning today.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred near Versova metro station. Geeta who was believed to have been behind the wheels of her car reportedly lost control and crashed her car into a bike borne rider. The biker identified as Nasir is said to have been injured and was reportedly admitted to the nearby Kokilaben Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, when we checked with Versova police station, the officer who attended our call stated that the Investigating Officer, Mahamuni was out of office. The officer confirmed that Geeta was not in their lock-up anymore and could have possibly been released on bail.
