MUMBAI: Vinit Kakar had a great startup to his career and was appreciated for his performance as an antagonist in Vighnaharta Ganesha as Andhakasur on Sony TV. He was also seen in Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman among other shows.

Currently playing the role of Kairevat in Chandragupta Maurya, Vinit is elated that the show opened at a 1.1 TRP in the first week.

Sharing more about his character, Vinit said, “Well, yes I am happy and I am sure the show has a long way to go with the way the characters are projected. There are several antagonists in the serial and I play the one which represents pride. I play the youngest brother and to shoot the scenes for this show is exhilarating!”
