Hard working people are valued everywhere: Aarti Singh

Aarti Singh

After portraying popular characters on shows like Parichay, Uttaran and Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, she took a break from television. But Aarti Singh made her comeback with a strong and powerful character Amba on &TV’s Waaris.

In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com, the actress spoke about her show, marriage plans and more...

We asked Aarti how difficult it was for a single woman to survive in this industry, she shared, “I believe not only in this industry but in the entire world, a female has to be strong and suffer a lot. In today’s world the scenario has changed. There is value for people who are hard working.”

Talking about playing a mom onscreen, she averred, “I am playing a mother of three kids in the show…this character certainly gives me self-satisfaction. I enjoy doing my scenes. Rashami Desai was playing a mom of Shreejita De and she used to look very beautiful. There was a time when actresses were stereotyped with mom roles, but now the thinking has changed. Talent is valued more.”

We also wanted to know when she would be tying the knot, Aarti said, “The hunt is on. I don’t know where my better half is. My prince charming is late, hope he comes now as I want to get married soon.”

We hope her wish comes true!
