Harshad Arora to play the lead in Fortune Productions’ Swadheenta on Star Plus

The young gun who made his successful debut as Zain Abdullah with Beintehaa, flew off to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi the following day that his show wrapped up. Recently he was also roped in to play the lead in Sunshine Production's Siddhi but sadly the show scrapped. But not the one to lose heart, Harshad signed Qubool Hai but was unfortunately replaced in the last moment. But fate definitely had a different plan as now the actor has joined hands with his first producer to play the lead in his ambitious project Swadheenta. As reported by Tellychakkar.com Fortune Productions headed by Farhan Salaruddin was to launch a finite series on Star Plus. Based in Delhi, the courtroom drama would focus on the bureaucracy world of our nation. Reports about Gurmeet Chaudhary playing the lead had surfaced, but he has only shot the pilot of the series. As for the female lead, Bong beauty Tridha Chaudhary will make her debut on Hindi TV opposite Harshad. Confirming the news a credible source said, "Harshad's personality and looks matches the character completely. After a lot of actors being auditioned, Harshad finally has bagged the priced role. We are confident that the makers and the actor will once again present a masterpiece like Beintehaa." Other actors who have been roped in for Swadheenta are Meghna Malik, Pawan Shankar and Aryan Pandit. The show will go floors soon and will be extensively shot in Delhi. It is slated to launch sometime in October. We tried reaching Harshad and producer Farhan but they remained unavailable to comment.
