A new girl in the life of Raja and a cop to make Raja’s life hell will soon enter Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
Hema Sood and Suyyash Rai
Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani (Sphereorigins and Invictus T Mediaworks) will turn a new leaf in terms of story telling very soon!! Our loyal readers would remember vividly about Tellychakkar.com reporting exclusively about the 10 years leap in the show, the exit of popular actor Iqbal Khan and entry of Sudesh Berry.  Gear up for the next huge developments in the show.  The periodic drama which has always been different in its presentability and plot depiction will now don the look of the 70’s Hindi mafia films.  Yes, Raja (Sarrtaj Gill) who would be groomed by a don, played by Sudesh Berry, will have a makeover and will become a don himself in due course of time. The classy don will also have a new girl in his life!! OMG!!                                                     True, there will be a new lead entering the show. Actor Hema Sood, who has been part of reality shows Ticket to Bollywood and Dance India Dance 3, will enter the show very soon.  As per sources, “Hema, who was last seen as Nidhi in Colors’ Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, will play a role similar to that of Parveen Babi’s in the movie Deewar. She will be head-over-heels in love with Raja. She will be the daughter of Sudesh Berry’s character.” Also entering the show will be a cop who would be the one watching the actions of Raja.  The new groom in town Suyyash Rai (recently married belle Kishwer Merchant) will enter Ek Tha Raja in the role of the cop. Our source further states, “Suyyash will play the character of Inspector Vijay who would be totally against Don Raja.” We also hear that Eisha Singh aka Rani will also re-appear amidst a mystery-filled track. She will be shown as a film heroine.  We buzzed Hema, but could not get through her. When contacted Suyyash, he said, "Nothing is finalized yet." We also buzzed Producer Sunjoy Waddhwa and the channel spokesperson, but did not receive revert.  Wow!! Seems like Ek Tha Raja has a perfect setting for a masala filled plot! Gear up audience and enjoy the freshness!!
