Bubbly and fun loving Mrunal Thakur, who currently essays the role of Bulbul in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, is pretty excited as she waits for the release of her Marathi movie ‘Vitti Dandu’ in November.
Talking about her present state of mind, the actress states, “November is very lucky for me as my film is releasing on 21 November. It is an Ajay Devgn production. Earlier I did one Marathi film Rangkarmi. I enjoy doing Marathi films as it makes me feel connected. I can never say no to Marathi Cinema.”
On her equation with her co-actors in Kumkum Bhagya, she avers, “We are like a family. Here nobody has attitude problem. We share a great bond off screen, so it can also be seen on screen and we die to come on set. Kumkum Bhagya has given a positive response to all of us.”
On the similarities her on-screen character has with her real self, Mrunal explains, “When the show started, Mrunal and Bulbul were the same but slowly and gradually Bulbul became mature and started taking her own decisions. Bulbul is today very responsible unlike me; I am very much sensible, but lack the maturity to take big decisions. Any important decision is taken by my family.”
“We stars get to learn a lot from our characters. As Mrunal I got to learn a lot from Bulbul in being responsible and mature. In real life we inculcate the habits of the character we play in reel life,” adds Mrunal.
Talking about her favourite pass time she shares, “Sleeping is my favourite pass time. After shoot when I go home I sleep so much that my parents say that you come home only to sleep.”
Mrunal, we wish you all the best for your film.
